SUMMARY:Creating\, Implementing\, and Sustaining a Feedback Culture: Bringing Your Leadership Team to the Next Level of Collaboration and Performance
DESCRIPTION:A two-part\, online workshop for decision-makers—including administrators\, directors\, board and committee members\, and faculty and section chairs—working in Waldorf schools or other workplace settings \n  \n“Human development is significantly impacted by and often flourishes within the context of relationships. Relationships\, especially those characterized by empathy\, acceptance and mutual support\, provide the necessary conditions for individuals to explore their potential and become fully functioning.” – Carl Rogers \nThe skill of giving and receiving feedback\, which is essential for individual development\, robust relationships\, and organizational success\, is the focus of our latest Collaborative Leadership workshop. Through presentation\, large and small group discussion\, sharing\, and journaling across two weekends\, in this workshop we will: \n\nDefine feedback and examine its importance and relevance in the workplace;\nExplore how to introduce and apply the principles of feedback in your organization;\nPresent methods and practical tools for offering and responding to feedback  on behavior and leadership skills;\nCreate space for clarifying questions and share recommendations\, examples\, and experiences.\n\nWe encourage you to work with the principles and tools conveyed in the first weekend when you return to your workplace. Then come back to the second weekend to share your experiences\, ask clarifying questions\, and receive support and recommendations for next steps. \nWe invite you to join us for another eye-opening\, informative\, and highly practical Collaborative Leadership experience! \n\n\n  \nFacilitators \nJoachim Ziegler\, PhD\, has been working in the fields of organizational development and human resources development since 1994. A partner in MIRA Companions for Development\, an international consulting group\, Joachim’s current list of American and international clients encompasses the banking\, pharmaceutical\, retail\, and manufacturing sectors\, as well as anthroposophical institutions and Waldorf schools. Joachim is a member of the College of Social Sciences Section at the Goetheanum and the international Association for Social Development and has taught at the University of Muenster and at Germany’s first private university in Herdecke. He holds an MA in adult education and a PhD in medical education. \nJessica Heffernan Ziegler has been the executive director of Sunbridge Institute since 2008. Her professional focus on leadership skills\, governance issues\, and personnel development are utilized both in her executive director role and in her work as co-instructor of Sunbridge’s Collaborative Leadership course and related workshops; she also teaches Waldorf school administration in Sunbridge’s Waldorf Early Childhood Teacher Education program and previously taught in Sunbridge College’s Administration and Biography programs. Jessica is a partner in MIRA Companions for Development\, an international consulting group\, and works as an executive coach and organizational development consultant for Waldorf administrators and teachers and other professionals in diverse institutions and schools in both the US and Germany. She served as the first administrator and as a board member at a Waldorf school she co-founded in Everswinkel\, Germany\, and has sat on many other boards\, including at AWSNA\, for which she is an active committee member and workshop presenter.
