“Classroom Management and the Heart of Teaching” Talk with Karen Crandall

Join us for a conversation led by Karen Crandall, class teacher at the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs and member of the Sunbridge Summer Series faculty.

Karen currently teaches sixth grade at Saratoga Springs. This is her third class cycle; she led her first class, grades one through eight, from 1993-2001 and her second class from 2007-2012.  She has chaired her school’s Teacher Development Committee since 2010 and sits on their Collegium. A seasoned instructor of Sunbridge’s “Approaching the Grades” summer courses and a facilitator of our pedagogical leadership workshops, Karen holds a BFA from Penn State University and an MSEd from Sunbridge College.

This one-hour talk is part of the Sunbridge faculty panel series and takes place 7:15-8:15 on Tuesday evening, July 3, in Upper Brookside. Admission is free and open to the public. Please arrive promptly.
