Waldorf Weekend: Foundations and Fundamentals of Waldorf Education

Friday, July 22, 2016 - Sunday, July 24, 2016

Waldorf WeekendSummer Series 2016 weekend workshop with instructor Anna Silber, Sunbridge Director of Education, and others.

This workshop is sold out. To add your name to our waiting list, please contact our registrar, Tamara Photiadis ([email protected] / 845-425-0055 x 16).  Our wintertime (abbreviated) Waldorf Weekend takes place January 27-28, 2017.

Open to all, but especially relevant for new and prospective Waldorf community members (including teachers, parents and grandparents, staff and board members) and lovers of education

Our popular Waldorf Weekend workshop is designed to provide an in-depth and experiential survey of the basis and the basics of Waldorf Education.

In addition to exploring the Waldorf curriculum, this workshop includes a discussion of Rudolf Steiner’s insights in human development and a look into the anthroposophical underpinnings of the Waldorf impulse. You’ll enjoy hands-on artistic activities such as music, movement, and drawing, and there’ll be plenty of time for questions and answers. Our Waldorf Weekends are a most memorable—and fun!—learning experience.

Students who took this workshop in previous summers had this to say:

~ The weekend has been wonderful. The information was communicated in a clear way, and I feel like I have a much deeper understanding of what it means to look at the world through the Waldorf lens.

~ The weekend was outstanding! I was deeply inspired, both as a teacher and as a human being.

~ Highly informed, warm-hearted facilitators with a deep concern for the group’s understanding and experience.

~ I am in awe of Anna, and cannot say enough good things about her.

~ This was one of the single most wonderful weekends in my life. I came with the intention of learning more about Waldorf Education. I am leaving with a feeling of a shifting of my soul.

~  This was a wonderful workshop, and I highly recommend that everyone from teacher to parents take interest and reap the benefits.
